Etymology: Trump – of Germanic origin; probably imitative

We all know (and agree) that in some European Countries it is against the law to declare you are a Nazi supporter, portray the Nazi salute or display the Swastika (even though historically, it is an ancient religious symbol but it’s best known since the Nazi Party adopted it prior to World War II). In Hungary, it is a criminal misdemeanor to publicly display totalitarian symbols, in Lithuania is an administrative offense, while in Poland is a criminal offense punishable by up to eight years of imprisonment. In 2010, Microsoft banned the symbol from being used or displayed by users in Xbox Live, if someone would report it as inappropriate, and Stephen Toulouse explained it as ‘It’s not political correctness, it’s fundamental respect’. In 2011, a 30 year old Canadian tourist was arrested after he was photographed giving the Nazi salute outside the Reichstag, the German parliament building in Berlin. He got off with a fine and several hours in police custody. And all for a selfie, right? The Nazi salute is also banned in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria and those convicted can face up to five years in jail. In Switzerland and Sweden is considered a criminal offence if it is done to promote racist ideologies, or you know…in media.

You are probably thinking where I am heading with this. I am going to the Animal Farm of George Orwell, who brilliantly points out that ‘All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others’ and when Donald Trump became Comrade Napoleon? I wonder if on an American TV, you can see the same picture you see here, in Europe. Do they not see he is breaking the law in a fashionable manner, or that he is the opposite of everything America stands for, like their Constitution? Donald Trump is a good entertainer, one that you can watch after your children fell asleep, your husband is fed and there’s nothing on TV. He’s funny like Zoolander 2 and his theories are like Deadpool…humorous but with tons of special effects and nothing is what it seems.

Hitler became famous when he used his high treason trial as an opportunity to spread his message throughout Germany. One of his arguments for political leadership was that ‘leading people is not a matter of political science but an innate ability, one of statecraft. Technically, he said he was the gifted one. He was not making his appeal to the mind, but to the senses. Does that sound familiar to you? Donald Trump’s entire campaign is based on making America Great again, but he never says what are the measures and what is the path he will take. ‘Our Country needs a truly great leader’ …Hitler or Trump? BOTH.

Trump promised to build ‘a great, great wall’ on the Mexican border. Does he mean like the ‘the great, great wall of Berlin’ built by the GDR as a barrier that divided Berlin with the purpose of preventing the massive emigration and defection? I wonder where he got that idea from…

Obamacare apparently is a disaster and Trump says ‘We have to repeal Obamacare, and it can be — and — and it can be replaced with something much better for everybody. Let it be for everybody. But much better and much less expensive for people and for the government. And we can do it.’ You can see the full speech here. How will you do this Trump? Will you increase taxes to make the Health Care more affordable? How will the new system look like? What is the difference? Will you explain this to the American people?

Trump criticizes the politicians…for I have no idea what reason because he just doesn’t say… he rambles: ‘TRUMP: So I’ve watched the politicians. I’ve dealt with them all my life. If you can’t make a good deal with a politician, then there’s something wrong with you. You’re certainly not very good. And that’s what we have= representing us. They will never make America great again. They don’t even have a chance. They’re controlled fully — they’re controlled fully by the lobbyists, by the donors, and by the special interests, fully.’ And then he continues by admitting he does the SAME THING. TRump – “Hey, I have lobbyists. I have to tell you. I have lobbyists that can produce anything for me. They’re great. But you know what? it won’t happen. It won’t happen. Because we have to stop doing things for some people, but for this country, it’s destroying our country. We have to stop, and it has to stop now.”

He continues ‘We need somebody that can take the brand of the United States and make it great again. It’s not great again’ (?????)

We need — we need somebody — we need somebody that literally will take this country and make it great again. We can do that.’

Literally, really?

A stronger nation through higher education …they say. Well, America’s high school graduation rate hit 82% in 2013-2014 school year, an all-time record and nearly 40% of working-aged Americans now hold a college degree according to Lumina Foundation. Then how come they are so oblivious to Trumps’ language, demeanor and uneducated appearance?

His issues with Mexico and China take over half of his speech and they are mostly from a commercial point of view. How China implements their regulations and how Ford chooses to build their $2.5 billion company in Mexico rather than USA has nothing to do with the country itself, but it is simply better financially for Ford (the workforce is cheaper, for instance). It’s not rocket science. Don’t Americans take economy lessons in schools?

However, the real issues are incorporated in his speeches and what he stands for. Earlier this month, Trump told a South Carolina retirement community that he supports waterboarding and similar interrogation techniques because “torture works” when it comes to extracting vital information from terrorists (Full Article Here). President Obama’s Administration discontinued its use during his first term in office, as this would violate various international laws and treaties. Trump, meanwhile, has not only pledged to reinstate waterboarding, but also introduce other methods of interrogation that are “so much worse” and “much stronger.” “Don’t tell me it doesn’t work – torture works,” Trump told the Sun City retirement community. “Okay, folks? Torture – you know, half these guys say: ‘Torture doesn’t work.’ Believe me, it works. Okay?”

Trump had also said on multiple occasions that the family members of terrorists should be killed ‘Because they do not care very much about their lives, but they do care, believe it or not, about their family’s lives,”. As it is pointed out by Michael Hayden in the Just Above Sunset blog, a retired Air Force and former Director of the National Security Agency and former Director of CIA – “If he (Donald Trump) were to order that once in government, the American armed forces would refuse to act.” “You are required not to follow an unlawful order,” Hayden added. “That would be in violation of all the international laws of armed conflict.” However, in this respect, in the Thursday debate Trump did say he’d give the order for torture and the order for our folks to kill the appropriate women and children – “They won’t refuse. They’re not going to refuse me. Believe me.” Then he added this – “I’m a leader. I’ve never had any problems leading people. If I say do it, they’re going to do it.” The audience cheered. (Just Above Sunset). And this is why folks, I started this blog post the way I did. Now you can go back and read that again. Now everything makes sense.

Trump encourages physical violence at rallies. Interrupted by a protester, he says: “Get him out, “Try not to hurt him. If you do, I’ll defend you in court.” Then he said, “Are Trump rallies the most fun? We’re having a good time.” He also encourages racism on multiple occasion as the one in November when a black protester was punched, kicked and briefly choked. Trump later defended the crowd’s treatment of the protester, saying that “maybe he should have been roughed up because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.” In December in Las Vegas, individuals rally yelled ‘Sieg Heil’ and ‘light the motherfucker on fire’ toward a black protester (Video). On the 1st March in Louisville, Kentucky a black woman was surrounded and shoved by a number of individuals at a Trump rally.

The US Census Bureau estimates 45,672,250 African American in the United States, which means 14, 3% of the total American population of 318, 9 million is Black. Where are they when this is happening? Does Trump need to bring up race segregation in his rallies for the African American to get their things together and act?

When I started writing this post, I thought it would be just another opinionated post but taking the time and doing some research, it became just facts. Facts that made me angry and doubtful about the world we are living in. Here is an opinionated statement: Donald Trump is a rich, spoiled brat who wants what he wants, when he wants it, no matter how he gets it. He is instigating to violence against American people, against black people, against fat people, against immigrants that pay their taxes and live in America, against Muslims, Asians and Mexicans, against everyone America does trade with and essentially …against the world. He is breaking your 1st Amendment at every single appearance and speech. If I see him show up tomorrow with a Swastika and saying he is the Prometheus of mankind…everything would make sense, because ‘he is bold, and says it as it is’, isn’t it? No matter where you live, you should be concerned if this will be the face of one of the most powerful countries in the world. It would  become a joke, but a bad one.

I’m going to go now and read a little about his number one fan, notorious Ku Klux Klan member David Duke that apparently Trump hasn’t heard of…
